Testimonial

"I work in all ten counties of the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula and much of my time is spent in meetings, resource groups and referral groups throughout the region. I often find myself asking the question: Why are we so fragmented? Why aren’t we working together instead of separately? Why aren’t we combining our resources to meet the needs in our communities? However, I also realize how the county lines define us both financially and emotionally.

ConnectRappahannock, in my opinion, is the first step in erasing those county lines and creating one place where we can share information and resources. All non-profits are struggling with inadequate funding and staff in this economic environment. It is impossible for me to reach all ten counties with my message due to a lack of staff and funding. ConnectRappahannock helps me get the information out to those who need it. Everyone can access information about our education programs, our volunteer needs, and our fundraising information through this one website.

ConnectRappahannock should continue to grow, encouraging communication and collaboration, uniting the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula as we continue to work to meet the needs of all our communities."
